This is no doubt Calochortus ciscoensis (not named until 2008). It has long drooping leaves persistent at the time of flowering which could have led to the collector to believe that it was C. flexuosus. C. ciscoensis also can completely lack a chevron (or it can be faint or only partially present) and like C. flexuosus, it can have either white to pink/lavender (or lilac in the case of flexuosus) flowers. (C.ciscoensis in fact may be of hybrid origin with parents that might have included C. nuttalli and C. flexuosus.) C. flexuosus however hasn't so far been found in Grand County.
