Description: Flowers scarlet, sexually dimorphic in population. Pet. apex red, base orange to pale yellow; Fil. apex magenta, base white; Sty. geenish white; One flower open from late afternoon on 28 April through the night of 1 May.
Notes: Cited in baker et al. 2009. Haseltonia 15: p. 16. Flower data collected by Bruce Parfitt. Flowering dates 25-28 April, 2 May. Chromosome number, n=22 (tetraploid), determined from microsporocyte meiosis in this individual.
