Habitat: Open aspen understory and banks along Virginia Mine Road below mine. Found in large talus slope halfway up Virginia Basin trail.
Description: Scattered clumps. Leaves and plants small. Flowers variable from ~small to almost size of normal specimens. Flowers much too large for A. saximontana.
