Grazed aspen/big sage ecotone. Growing with, Crepis acuminata, Purshia tridentata, Amelanchier alnifolia, Eriogonum umbellatum, Lupinus argenteus, Eriogonum racemosum. Growing in clay-loam soil on a 5° SE-facing slope.
Very dark gray-brown (10YR 3/2) colored clay-loam soils.
Seed collected from 270 plants; to be used for general research, genetic studies, long-term storage & site rehab. 'Arrowleaf balsamroot.' Voucher for: Seeds of Success program.
