Description: Locally rather abundant, no pollen-sterile flowers have been observed within this population (see also Baker 14367.1); individual transplanted to outside garden, Chino Valley, Arizona; bud collected during mid meiosis of microgametogenesis at 10:40 hrs, 1 May 2013; n=22; flowers photographed and collected (3) 13 May 2013, weights 5.2, 5.7, 6.0 grams; an additional flower collected 14 May 2013, weight 5.2 grams; stems collected and pressed 4 June 2013; individual died by 24 August 2013, dead stems pressed
