Habitat: Wet meadow near small meandering stream channels
Associated Species: Scirpus microcarpus, Solidago lepida var. salebrosa, Cornus stolonifera, Cypripedium parviflorum var. pubescens, Equisteum arvense, Smilacina stellata, Agrostis sp.
Description: Stems end grazed possibly by moose
Reproductive Condition: Was likely fruiting but grazed
Notes: Not included in prior floristic studies of Red Butte Canyon but it does occur in adjoining canyons; seen so far only at this one location growing with other orchid species
