Habitat: Steep, spring-fed, wet canyon.
Associated Species: Fraxinus velutina, Fraxinus gooddingii, Platanus wrightii, Juglans major, Populus fremontii, Juniperus arizonica, Tillandsia recurvata, Rhamnus sp., Rhus virens, Agave palmeri, Berberis haematocarpa, Carex sp., Clematis sp., Erythranthe sp., Toxicodendron radicans.
Description: Locally abundant monocot, 50 cm; flowers green and reddish-orange, nodding.
Notes: Madrean Discovery Expedition (MDE); vouchers to MEXU, USON.
